Each of our offerings is designed to answer a different question and move you one step closer to building your home the right way. Here’s how it works:
Study Set
Question it answers: Is this the right plan for me?
The Study Set is a reduced-size (11×17) PDF that includes the floor plans and elevations. It’s not a license to build—but it is a powerful tool. It helps you understand the overall layout, design flow, and architectural feel of the plan.
It’s especially useful when:

You’re comparing a few different plans

You want to sit down with a local builder to get early feedback

You’re working on an initial project budget
3D Model
Question it answers: What will this home really look like?
The 3D model is a SketchUp file of the home’s exterior. It doesn’t include interiors or construction details, but it gives you a realistic view of the shape, massing, and exterior elements of the home. You can even play with color and material options using The Configurator.
It’s helpful for:

Visualizing proportions and curb appeal

Communicating your vision clearly with your team
Bidding & Pricing Set
Question it answers: How much will this home cost to build?
This is the full construction document set marked “Not for Construction.” It’s meant to be shared with builders and subcontractors so they can provide accurate pricing for the project.

You want to compare quotes from multiple builders

You need to determine financial feasibility before purchasing a license
This purchase can be credited toward your License to Build.
One-Time License to Build
Question it answers: I’m ready to build—what do I need?
This is your full construction set and license to build the home once. It includes all the architectural drawings needed to construct the house and submit for permits.
You’ll receive*:

2-Year Unlimited Build License
Question it answers: Can I use this plan for multiple builds?
This license is ideal for developers or builders looking to use one plan across multiple lots. You’ll have two years to build the plan as many times as you like. After that, additional builds require a new license.
