ARA is a strong, professional, architectural group that cares about producing beautiful, high quality work. They were easy to work with, I wish we could have had face to face meetings as this was our first true home build. Bill Harris of Allison Ramsey Architects is an excellent architect who took our likes, budget and concerns seriously as we worked through the process of developing plans for our new house and garage. We purchased one of the ARA plans and made lots of changes to create our own low country home. The invoice came in as he had estimated. Bill is knowledgeable, responsive, efficient and conscientious. He attended the review board meetings and communicated all information back to us. He had contacts that he put us in touch with when needed, he understood the architectural guidelines for our development and had a good working relationship with the review board, Our builder is happy with the plans and we broke ground last week. We are excited to see the plans come to fruition.

My husband and I searched coastal house plans for several years without finding what we had in mind. We both grew up in coastal Georgia, then moved to Western North Carolina, so our ideal house was sort of a hybrid coastal cottage/firetower with more porch than house. We love the classic coastal style of the Allison Ramsey designs, so we contacted them for a proposal. Cooter Ramsey and Christopher Perry did a wonderful job of merging our wishes with some practical, space saving features. This architectural firm is easy to work with, friendly and really pays attention to the client. They designed the perfect plan for us, and made the entire process fun.
